Enrichment Clubs

As a Federation, we recognise the importance of providing children with an enriched curriculum, which includes the opportunity to attend different school-based clubs. We believe that this is important for personal development, enhancing confidence, social skills and self-esteem, as well as providing the opportunity to learn new skills.

Clubs vary throughout the year and usually take place after school and at lunchtimes. Occasionally, clubs are offered before school. The majority of our clubs are run in-house by our teaching staff and change on a termly basis. Staff commitments mean that it is not possible for these to be continuous throughout the year, but we strive to run them as frequently as possible.

Some examples of the types of clubs we offer are: Cooking, Lego, Mindfulness, Ukelele, Yoga, Scratch – Online Programming, Art, Funky Fingers, Gardening, Walk and Run, Board Games, Coding, Book Club and Tennis. We also run targeted clubs for specific children which are on an invite only basis.

Thomas Bullock has a very active school choir, led by Miss Crane. In addition to singing for our school community, both in school and during our church services, they also perform for the wider community. This year, they staged a fantastic Christmas Carol Concert at All Saints Church, Shipdham (run by FOSS) and also performed for the residents of Shipdham Manor Care Home. Each year they can be seen on the Norfolk Music Hub School Stage at The Royal Norfolk Show.
