Our commitment to healthy eating is reflected in the diverse and balanced menu offered daily. Students can choose from:
- Hot Main Meals: Featuring a variety of protein sources, vegetables, and whole grains.
- Vegetarian Options: Delicious and satisfying meals designed to meet the nutritional needs of all students.
- Pasta Dishes: A source of energy and a popular choice among children.
- Jacket Potatoes: A versatile and healthy option with a range of nutritious fillings.
- Filled Rolls: Made with fresh ingredients and wholesome fillings.
Free Meals for Younger Students:
We're pleased to offer free school meals to all children in Reception (Year R), Year 1, and Year 2, ensuring they have access to a healthy lunch every day.
Paid Meals for Other Year Groups:
For children in Ark Nursery and Years 3-6, school meals are available for £2.70 per day, payable through our convenient online payment system.
Healthy Packed Lunches from Home:
If you prefer to provide a packed lunch, we encourage you to include healthy options such as:
- Fruits and vegetables
- Whole grain sandwiches or wraps
- Dairy products like yoghurt or cheese
- Water or unsweetened juice
Please remember that we maintain a nut-free policy due to severe allergies within our school community. We also ask that you avoid including chocolate bars, confectionery, and fizzy drinks in packed lunches.
Catering to Allergies:
We understand the importance of accommodating food allergies. If your child has any dietary restrictions, please inform the school office, and our kitchen staff will do their best to provide safe and suitable meal options.
Our partnership with Nourish allows us to provide healthy, balanced meals that support our students' growth and development. We are committed to fostering healthy eating habits that will benefit them for years to come.
